Plotify : Spot Spotify Spots

Plotify is an iOS app designed for iPhone13, utilizing MapKit, UIKit, and Spotify’s API to allow users to ‘drop’ songs on a map, as well as ‘pick up’ songs based on geographic location to generate a playlist. Through location mapping, a fun way to expand one’s music repertoire is born.
Prototype Screens
Designed in Figma and developed using Swift, Plotify connects to the user's Spotify account and allows them to "drop" songs at their location corresponding to the song they are currently listening to. Users can see other users' songs on the map, and if they are within a close enough range they can click on the pin and add the song to their Songs tab, as well as add the other user to their Friends tab. In the Songs tab, users can click on the Create Playlist button to generate a corresponding playlist in Spotify or add the songs to an existing Plotify playlist. In the Friends tab, users can see their added friends and their most recent drops. In the Profile tab, users can see their own Spotify account profile, the number of drops they've posted, and their most recent drops.
